Valtteri Bottas Logo Redesign
Valtteri Bottas is a Finnish professional racing driver currently competing in Formula 1 for Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. Since he joined in 2017, the team has been winning back to back constructors world titles.
Good design is a key factor at the pinnacle of motorsport and it can be seen everywhere, from the cars and their liveries, the teams' unique uniforms, the drivers' equipment, to the merchandise and much more.
After noticing an inconsistency issue regarding the driver using two different personal logos on different types of equipment and merchandise, I decided to work on it, reinterpreting and unifiyng them into a single, simpler and more stylish lettermark.
